One day I'll know

One day, Madam, one day I will know ;
I'll know who I am and this I'll show.
Travelling all around our beautiful Earth
To hear every sound of every child's birth,
To cross every sea and every desert
Where I will see water, sand and dirt.
Discovering cities and their civilizations
To go to parties and test new sensations,
To meet girls and boys behind the ocean
Where I'll hear the noise of Revolution.
Learning enough languages on our globe
To understand others and to be understood,
To help people and try to make good
Where I reckon that helping I could.
Finding myself and what I want to be,
To be strong enough and never on my knee,
To tell my children around a cup of tea
That all of this is my reality.
Looking at our sun on the bright white snow,
To see in some water a beautiful rainbow,
To realize how much I actually saw,
How much I felt and what I let go.
So one day, Madam, one day I'll know;
I'll know who I am and this I'll show.
